Donny Granza

Donny  has taken a long, winding road to get where he is today. Since he’s from Scranton, everyone knows the road has plenty of potholes. He was an average student in school; either because he was too busy running his side business creating word searches for newspapers or  he was  too lazy and didn’t apply himself.   Donny realized he needed something to talk about at his upcoming 10 year high school reunion, and entered the Wilkes University  Creative Writing Program. He graduated in 2018 with an MFA in Creative Writing with a focus on screenwriting. Donny has aspirations of becoming a full time screenwriter.  As a standup comedian, he has competed in NEPA’s Got Talent and The Scranton Fringe Festival. He is also employed by Penn Foster. His interests include sports, particularly the sports teams of his undergrad alma mater Penn State. He is also a lover of old movies and tv shows and has a YouTube channel, “Classic Movie/TV Spotlight.”
