In a special Pride Month episode Maura and Donny discuss the 1995 novel “ Father of Frankenstein” by Christopher Bram, the fictionalized account of openly gay director James Whale. The 1998 film adaptation, “Gods and Monsters”, was written and directed by Bill Condon and stars Ian Mckellen, Brendan Fraser, and Lynn Redgrave.
